We wanted to catch everyone up on this last year:

Christmas came and went, but not without a little mischief.

And into winter with fun in the snow.

Michael rode down the hills of Serry Drive until he couldn't feel his little fingers and toes.
And off in the distance Mommy spotted...........

A Daddy, a Laney, and a Michael :)

When it got cold outside, Michael went inside to play some instruments...with his face.

and read some magazines (note a displaced Laney).

Then high-class waiter.  Tips anyone, tips?  Don't eat yellow snow???  I don't get it Daddy.
and play a little "Find Jimmy Hoffa."  Is he over there?

Oh no, he's not.
Well then let's play the Great American Boat Race.  Snap to it Laney, and get in the boat.
And they went on their great adventure.
But the lake froze, so Michael was forced to go back out and play some hockey.

So Daddy laid the foundation for his skill-set.  And off to his first tournament he went.
He spent his pregame warm-up with Mommy.

They he went to sign some autographs in his new gear afterwards.

Caught in the Act!!!

Michael is a fairly well behaved kid, but he has gotten into the usual toddler naughty streak.  Joe and I just hope his wild stage is shorter than Lizzie and MaeMae's! <-Said with love. Let's remember the easier baby naughties.

Michael loves paper products....
Please note that he was able to reach onto a table for that box at eight months. Darn that 90th percentile!!!!

Understanding that he's been caught, he tries to flee the scene on foot ....er....knee, and hands as well.

Unfortunately, he leaves a trail of evidence.

Remorseful?

I doubt it.

Halloween

Michael's second Halloween was much different from his first. We did it all. Carved pumpkins, dressed up for the family party, and trick-or-treated. He seemed to love it. Here are tons of pics!
Helping daddy clean the pumpkins. Joe took a high-tech approach to carving this year.

Apparently it was too chilly outside for Laney.

The finished product!
For the Schwandt's Halloween party Michale borrowed Aidan's teddybear costume. It wasn't fitting well so by the 31st he used a frog costume from the neighbors.

A random pic of the fam.

Trick-or-treat time!

So big!

Michael turns One!

As a new baby
At three months

Six months
Nine months
One Year!

We went to a pumpkin patch for his birthday. It was 80* and he loved it! I don't have many pics of him in the patch but got a few cute ones of him walking back!

We can't believe a year has gone by so quickly!

Ok...ok..I caved.

Because my family (read sisters, including katie) have done such a great job updating the blogs recently I've decided to cave to the pressure and do one myslef. Besides, my kid is cute too. So to start here are a few favorite pics to share.

Playing at home is always a good time. Please note that our house does not look a mess at all. Selling a home does have a no clutter bonus.

We went to Gaylord for Alpenfest. Laney won the Ugly Dog contest and Joe and Orlando came in first and second, respectively, in the "Stone" spitting contest. (that's cherry pits to the rest of us)
We spent a lot of time at the lake.

We spent a lot of time on Grammie and Gramps' porch, and hanging with family. I don't have pictures of all the family.....there's an awful lot of family!
 It was a fast summer!
